Questions and answers

How do I merge PDF files?

Choose your PDF files or drop them on the page. Arrange the pages in the order you want, press Merge and download the combined PDF.

Can I change the order before I merge PDFs?

Yes. Drag a page to a new place, or use the move buttons on each page. You can also rotate or delete pages before you merge.

How many PDF files can I merge at once?

You can currently merge up to 50 PDF files, up to 100 MB each and 300 MB in total. The merged PDF can have up to 1000 pages.

Does merging PDF files reduce quality?

No. Page text and images are copied into the new file without re-encoding, so they keep their quality. Interactive parts are removed: form fields (including anything typed into them), attachments and JavaScript.

Are forms, links and attachments kept when I merge PDFs?

Web and email links are kept; links that jump to another page inside the document and comments are removed. Form fields and the values typed into them, attachments and JavaScript are not copied, so forms are not preserved. Document details such as Author, Creator, Producer and XMP metadata are not carried over either.
